News broke on Twitter last night that JuCo guard Joe Thomasson had decommitted from Oklahoma State and reopened his recruitment.

Who cares, right? What does this have to do with the Rhody Rams?

Well it turns out it could be a big deal for URI. As you may recall, top Rhode Island target Jared Terrell has cut his list to four: Rhody, PC, Cincinnati, and… Oklahoma State.

But who’s to say that Thomasson’s decision has anything to do with Terrell? According to the Oklahoma State Sports Insider’s Twitter account, they’re directly related.

Whuh oh. So is that it? Is Terrell going to turn over an Oklahoma State hat at his press conference on Saturday? Well not so fast. The Top-50 recruit is on his official visit to URI right now, which means Hurley and company still have a chance.

Who knows who Terrell will pick? Hell, who knows why Thomasson decided to bail on the Cowboys? It’s all impossible to predict at this point. Let’s just sit back and wait until Saturday… only then will we know for sure.
