With college hoops season upon us, we’ll round out our preseason predictions today with a look the Top 25 teams in the country… at least according to us. These are the picks we submitted to the FanSided site Busting Brackets back in September, and they compare decently to the AP Top 25 released this week. Here’s a look:

1. Kentucky (Associated Press Poll: 1)

2. Kansas (AP Poll: 5)

3. Louisville (AP Poll: 3)

4. Michigan State (AP Poll: 2)

5. Duke (AP Poll: 4)

6. Arizona (AP Poll: 6)

7. Ohio State (AP Poll: 11)

8. Michigan (AP Poll: 7)

9. Syracuse (AP Poll: T-8)

10. Florida (AP Poll: 10)

11. North Carolina (AP Poll: 12)

12. Gonzaga (AP Poll: 15)

13. Memphis (AP Poll: 13)

14. VCU (AP Poll: 14)

15. Indiana (AP Poll: NR)

16. Wichita State (AP Poll: 16)

17. Oklahoma State (AP Poll: T-8)

18. Saint Louis (AP Poll: NR)

19. Oregon (AP Poll: 19)

20. Connecticut (AP Poll: 18)

21. Iowa (AP Poll: NR)

22. UCLA (AP Poll: 22)

23. Marquette (AP Poll: 17)

24. New Mexico (AP Poll: 23)

25. Colorado (AP Poll: NR)

So there’s obviously a little A-10 homerism in there with the Billikens at number 18. For what it’s worth, the teams that were ranked in the AP poll that did not get our vote were Wisconsin (20), Notre Dame (21), Virginia (24), and Baylor (25). So what do you think – are we way off with a few of these? Too much Andrew Wiggins hype? Not enough ACC love? Let us know in the comments!
