Here are the vitals on the newest Ram:
Hometown: Glastonbury, CT
High School: Glastonbury HS (via Cheshire Academy)
Weight: 215 lbs
Rhode Island had some decent success last season with a first-year tight end. Josh Gross came in as a JuCo transfer and made an immediate impact… but he’s no longer with the team. Which means Lewis has a chance to come in and be the guy for Rhody. Here’s some more info from GoRhody:
As a two-way player at linebacker and wide receiver, Lewis led Cheshire to a New England Prep School Championship last fall. He had five touchdown receptions on offense, and defensively was second on the team in tackles, had two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. While at Glastonbury, he helped his team with three conference titles and advance to the state semifinals three years in a row. As a senior, he led his team in receptions and reception yardage. In his three seasons, Glastonbury was 28-7.
