This recent influx of URI football recruiting news can only mean one thing: Jim Fleming and his staff are doing work as they try to improve the Rams in the coming seasons. The latest offer? 2015 running back Shaun Bradley out of Rancocas Valley High School in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. Bradley was the first to report the offer via his Twitter account:
Just got offered a full scholarship to go play football at rhode island ….. I cant be more thankful gotta work hArder

Bradley is a 6’2″, 205-pound running back, and he also has some experience returning kicks (as evidenced in the pic above). And needless to say, he’s explosive in both areas. Aside from exploding for a 26-yard touchdown run last season, he also ran a kickoff back 86 yards to the house against West Windsor-Plainsboro North in his junior year. With his team down 7-0, Bradley did this:
“After they scored (the game’s first touchdown), coach said ‘This is it, this is the time,’ and we had talked about breaking a return all day,” Bradley said. “I had great blocks from Alec (Finelli) and Tyler (Schneider) and I just hit the hole.”
The junior’s 86-yard kickoff return to the end zone immediately reversed momentum…
So let’s see… big kickoff returns, big runs from scrimmage, and touchdowns? Sounds like there’s a lot to like here. We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on Bradley as he enters his senior season.
