Rhode Island Football Recruiting: LB Aaron Parker Signs NLI With Rams
The Rhode Island Rams added another linebacker named A. Parker today. Aaron Parker has signed with URI as part of National Signing Day 2016.
Be prepared to get a pair of explosive URI linebackers confused. The Rhode Island Rams have signed outside LB Aaron Parker this morning as National Signing Day 2016 continues. He joins current defender Adam Parker in the linebacking corps as Rhody fans prepare to call them each the wrong name on several occasions this year. Here’s the tweet that announced the latest addition.
Linebacker named Parker? Rhody knows that's a good thing. Welcome Aaron Parker! #CAAFB https://t.co/3DjySJs819 pic.twitter.com/GT3fqRBJXp

Here’s more on “don’t call me Adam” Aaron Parker.
Hometown: Brandywine, MD
High School: Gwynn Park High School
Position: LB
Height: 6’3″
Weight: 200 lbs
Twitter: @_____aaronn
If that home town and high school sounds familiar, it should. Cornerback Rashod Dickerson, who signed with the Rams earlier this morning, was also a standout at Gwynn Park. URI now has his explosive teammate on board. Parker has some insane speed for a linebacker, which should make him a nightmare for both opposing quarterbacks and running backs. Check out some of his highlights below.
